Never. Your location data is only accessible to members of your circle. We don't sell data, don't share it with advertisers, and don't use it to build profiles. Location history is automatically purged based on your retention settings.
Every member gets a personal rejoin code in Settings. After reinstalling, they can enter that code to rejoin their circle instantly — no need to create a new invite or bother the guardian.
Yes — Ghost Mode lets any member pause sharing for 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours, or indefinitely. Guardians are notified when ghost mode is activated. Guardians can also choose to disallow ghost mode for specific members.
